Latest misadventure

I nearly typed in "Last Misadventure" as a title, but decided that it would tempt Willows' fate too greatly. They must still travel from New Zealand to Colorado before this Grand Tour of the Whole World completes its merry round. Mind you, they'll have to drag themselves away from Angel Catherine first. Mo mean undertaking when the sun is shining in full bloom of summer there. I certainly wouldn't be venturing out of the hobbit hole that Strawberry land has become for anything less. Not if I had my choice!

But I don't. A new year and a new term are upon us. Onward, fraise! And a happy one may it be for you all x

Our new term begins tomorrow, and I for one am not prepared. The boys have been perfectly well behaved at home, so it's been no problem having them here while I putter about. Waking up before the sun to get them to school? That's a problem.

Onward, indeed!

I am so looking forward to the Willows homecoming but then there will be something missing - maybe we should do it all over again!

Mm misadventures sufficient I should think indeed! It really would be too mean to thrust them back in to winter just yet..they have a formal occasion to attend here on the 15th of January. We're all terribly excited about the event & I've promised that they can tell you all about it very soon. Meantime it's sun, picnics...the great outdoors ah, but no more swimming!! Cheerio & love from everyone x0x0x0

Hello,

I have just started a Writing for Children Course at Citylit in Covent Garden. As an exercise I drafted a fruit alphabet, which looked a little bit boring on it's own so I found some lovely bright pictures on the internet. One of them was of cherries and I am just asking for your permission to use it.

The tutor thought the book may be of interest to the Secret Seed Society and, when I contacted them, they said that maybe it would but I would need permission first for use of the photographs or otherwise find different pictures to illustratre it. I love yours, so wondered if it would be ok.

We can, if you wish, give you an accreditation at the end of the book.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Nicole
